Chemical Peels

Nova's 30-minute "mini peels" can be performed on your lunch hour. You can reapply makeup, and resume your daily activities immediately. A series of six peels is recommended for substantial improvement, with maintenance peels scheduled as needed.

Glycolic Acid Peel

One of the many naturally-occurring Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Because of its small molecular composition, glycolic acid provides the skin with the deepest and quickest penetration of all. Choose either a pumpkin or papaya enzyme to gently remove the signs of aging. A gentle, NATURAL means of lightening melasma and discoloration.

Salycilic Acid Peel

Perfect for oily skin. Removes oil build-up and promotes increased cell turnover ... leaving the skin refined and rejuvenated.

Modified Jessner’s Peel

A highly specialized resurfacing peel, without resorcinol, that can be applied in single or multi layers. Produces intensive exfoliation that evens out skin color.

Lightening Peel

A complex blend with Hydroquinone, azaleic acid can remove age spots and other facial discolorations. For patients with deeper lines and wrinkles, Dr. Karlin will offer deeper peels of trichloracetic - phenol acid, or even laser resurfacing.
