Is there anyone who can not receive this treatment? |

Though BOTOX® is very beneficial and effective in profuse sweating control, patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not receive BOTOX® treatment.

When will I notice a difference? |
|
In the first few months underarm sweating decreases. The full effect, sometimes including a reduction of sweat-related odor, can be noticed also. Most patients obtain the benefit of dryness with one treatment of BOTOX® for eight months or longer. After that the treatment has to be repeated. The BOTOX® hyperhidrosis treatment also aids in decreasing sweating at nighttime. |

Can I resume normal activity after the injections? |

Normal activity may be continued directly following this procedure. Heavy exercise however should be avoided for a few hours following the treatment. |
